I came home to my BabyGirlKid after a wonderfully comfortable 3-day weekend.

Also, when I went to Raley’s to pick up some coffee, I happened upon this, and I HAD to have her:

She’s a cat! With a book AND a cup of coffee!

She, and my new, tiny succulent (doesn’t it look like green kitty toe-beans!?!) will move out to the back patio with the other plants I’ve kept alive.

I drove home tonight to spend the week with Emily (and to work my weekly 40hrs) and when I arrived at my apartment, I saw the full moon watching over me…

Woke after a great night’s sleep, to fresh coffee and a turkey, fried egg, and cheese sammich, made by my love.

He is an excellent cook. I think it’s genetic, both of Matt’s daughters (Kelly & Megan) are incredible cooks as well.

Watched the Oscar’s and I’m glad that John Baptiste and H.E.R. won.

Shiny Spectacles

I also got my 2nd Moderna vaccine today and I am EXTATIC about it. In 2 weeks, I’ll feel so much safer than I have in over a year.

I have the next 3 days off. I took tomorrow off because many folks I know have felt puny the day after their 2nd jab. Sunday and Monday are my regular days off.

I plan to rest tomorrow, and probably putter on Sunday, as the forecast is for big rain.

I’m happy and tired. 😌
